EXPERIENCE

My passion is working with business and technical teams to implement successful business solutions. I also work to help companies get better at Strategic Planning/Enterprise Leadership, Program/Project Management, and Business Analysis/Software Development. This is achieved by working with the company to assess, plan improvement, execute improvement and validate the improvement with stakeholders.

Have been working with CIOs and senior management in managing enterprise programs and projects, setting strategic direction and developing enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps. Recent work includes managing multi-million dollar; SOA, ERP, consolidation, data center migration, VoIP, security and business system development programs and projects. Managing program/project teams ranging from 50-300 and involving multiple companies and vendors.

Additionally very experienced in building successful teams and project managers to help foster a successful project environment among multiple organizations. Have developed project management methodologies, selection/approval processes, training and metrics. Conducted business analysis and recommend solutions to help streamline current processes to reduce cost and realize time savings.

RECENT WORK

$20 million, 8 month SOA project. Managed multiple technical and business teams. Total project team was approximately 200 people. Several factors contributed to the complexity of this project; new technologies, new processes, internal and external staff, set timeline and multiple external vendors. Communication, organization and proper scheduling was key in getting this project completed successfully.

$3.5 million, 9 month project to upgrade an enterprise ERP system. Managed several teams, including development, integration, support, business subject matter experts (SMEs) and vendors. Total project team consisted of approximately 80 technical and business staff across 3 companies of one enterprise. Key was having a detailed plan of tasks necessary to complete the upgrade and a detailed test plan to make sure everything went smoothly.

$12 million project to develop and implement a VOIP solution for Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs). Managed technical groups, with total project team consisting of approximately 120 people. Communication and vendor coordination was key to the success of this project.

$1 million project to implement a new purchasing system. Lead the development team of 8 internal and external programmers to develop and implement the system. Integrated web-base system with the back-end mainframe accounting system. Project was very successful and was implemented on a larger scale than originally planned.
